[fusion_text]Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in October, as our second year comes to an end. ?It will be a chance to review the successes of year two and to discus the operational plan for year three. ?As per the Articles of Association of the BID a number of Directors will tender their resignation, leaving seats on the board open to nominations.

Next week we will begin the process of requesting nominations for the positions. ?We will be searching for positive, passionate people determined to see Southport be the best it can be. ?It is a position that requires strategic thinking, dedication and the ability to make long term decisions that will benefit Southport as a whole.

To be able to be nominated, nominate or vote for new Board Members you need to become a registered member of the BID. ?Paying a levy does not automatically make you a voting member, you must register yourself. ?It is a simple form, and requires no additional fees, it simply adds you to a formal register.

If you wish to attend the AGM you must also be a registered member.
