Mojo’s @ 13 Lord Street
Our Ambassador Helen recently met Lesley, owner of the new barbers at 13 Lord Street, Mojo’s. A stunning space – Mojo’s looks superb with its Art deco styling. A high end vintage barbers, it caters for all ages (with brilliant cars for little clients to sit in). Mojo’s will be offering a full range of high end American crew products and services to accommodate, offering both walk in and appointment. It has been a dream of owner Lesley Macbain to open her own salon on Lord Street, and with over 20 years experience and regularly featuring in most of the industry magazines- she looks set to succeed!
Lesley is also making sure that Mojo’s is an Autism and mental health friendly barbers. They will be hosting their first ‘Lions Den Drop In’ on Saturday the 30th of March. Lesley will be joined by a trained therapist and opening the doors to the community to provide a safe non-judgemental space for men to discuss the issues they are facing. Lesley has also partnered with neighbouring Anytime Fitness to provide FREE three day passes for anyone struggling who would benefit from using physical fitness to boost themselves mentally. The drop in is between 3-4pm and will be the last Sunday in each month going forward.

Candle Delight burns bright on Lord Street
The owners of Candle Delight are very excited to have moved to a new home on Lord Street. After 5 and a half happy years
in the beautiful Wayfarer’s Arcade, they are now have anew home at 335 Lord Street (next to HSBC)
