This week a beautiful new Cafe popped up on Scarisbrick Avenue and Helen paid them a visit to find out more for our Ambassador blog.

New caf? Hideaway is tucked just off Lord Street, along the popular tourist route.? The owner Peter is from a hospitality background and having started off as a waiter he progressed to become a food and beverage manager.? Peter had always dreamed of owning his own premises however, and turned this into a reality now with the brand new Hideaway.

Peter chose Scarisbrick Avenue due to its perfect location linking Lord Street to the historic King’s Gardens, Southport Pier and the beach.? It is a great stop off point for tourists en route or a lovely tucked away spot for someone looking for lunch or a quiet coffee.

The caf? offers a fantastic breakfast menu which includes a full English breakfast and a special slimming breakfast for those watching the syns and points! For lunch, look out for delicious homemade burgers, deli wraps and? fresh omelettes.? If it just a meet up you are looking for they have fresh coffees and slices of? delicious looking homemade cake to tempt you.

From the 10th of August, Peter and his Cafe Manager Katrina will be serving up alcoholic drinks too giving you even more reason to visit!? Next time you are passing pop in and introduce yourself or like their Facebook page and show some support for another brilliant Southport Independent!
