• The value of events to businesses in the town and how each can be grown
• Other potential event’s and events as a priority
• Ways of increasing business engagement in events and campaigns
• Our partnership work with Merseyside Police
• The growth of our Business Against Crime network
• How we prioritise spending between projects – what is most important
• The new retail website and how we create a more positive story for the town

Each focus group is a representative cross section of the levy payers, with representatives of different businesses and sectors. It is only open to levy payers,? The group is able to discuss and debate the importance of different projects and how they feel the annual budget should be spent and how we prioritise to ensure the maximum impact for all.? Representatives from several independent business covering retail and hospitality have so far attended, alongside representatives from national chains.
