It’s been a thrilling first nine months for Southport estate agents, Curlett Jones.
After being established in August 2020, the company has now landed the prestigious title of Gold Winner in the 2021 British Property Awards, and the Lord Street company has also been shortlisted for more national awards based on its outstanding customer service.
As a new addition to the Southport property scene, the company is going from strength to strength and has now merged with Southport’s property auction, investment and management company Penny Joseph.
Curlett Jones Director Alan Jones said: “We are absolutely thrilled at winning this award. Our staff have worked so hard since we were established last year, and we have received a fantastic response from property vendors and buyers alike.”
Since Southport was voted as one of the top ten happiest places to live in the UK by Rightmove in 2019, property sales and investment has increased throughout the town, making it a favourite for homeowners and buy-to-let landlords.
Landlords can also benefit from a 20% saving as no VAT is payable on Lettings services.
Madalena Penny of Penny Joseph said: “Curlett Jones Estates’ knowledge and passion to give the best service is second to none. I am thrilled to be part of the team.”
Alan Jones said: “We want very much to be part of the Southport community, and believe in putting things back into Southport.”
As part of its community drive, Curlett Jones donates a percentage of profits to Queenscourt Hospice.
As the hospice receives only 18% of its funding from the NHS it relies on the generosity of the wider community to continue with its vital work.
