We are organising Christmas late night shopping Thursday’s in December. ?Shops along Chapel Street and any surrounding areas have proposed opening until 8pm on the 1st, 8th and 15th and we are supporting this with a marketing campaign and providing plenty of festive street entertainment to bring a real party feel to the evenings.

The BID is also funding FREE PARKING from 3pm on each Thursday to encourage people in straight from school and work.

We are marketing the shopping nights in the following way:

? 200,000 regional leaflets distributed
? Coverage in the Visiter
? Two weeks of radio campaign on Smooth Radio
? Digital advertising on social media
? Adverts on bus rears and train panels to Liverpool
? Advert on big screen before switch on and presenter mentions during the show (audience of 10,000 plus)
? Posters around town

Entertainment will be different each week and will include a roving Santa, festive stilt walkers, LED snow queens, giant elves and a flash mob carol choir!
